Oh dang! I totally skipped out on last week's blog. Woe is me! Whatever shall I do?! Oh, that's right. I'll write a blog - TWICE AS LONG!
Because that's what we all need to do. Waste another perfectly good ten minutes, reading some piece of scrap work, destined to be lost in this tangled void we like to call the 'internet.' And with many other blogs out there, struggle for more followers and viewers of said writings is oh-so-present and for some, never ceases to leave. A real shame this is because as far as I'm concerned, there are a lot of GOOD writings out there that go un-noticed.
I think the point of this week's writing is to expose some blogs that I think are quite interesting, and have very few followers.
Alexiuss over at DeviantART.com. This guy is a phenomenal artist, and writer. He talks about how he feels about the art world around him, and how he feels about it. Sometimes, even brutally.
Ms. Genevieve Rankin: She's one of my favourites. Why? For a number of reasons, actually. Mainly, she's got this neat effect she does with her photographs which make them seem cross processed, and from the seventies. I dig. Also a user of film in a digital world. Way to go, Gen - break the mold!
Sean Klingelhoefer: Editor of Super Street Magazine, this guy knows how to Photoshop brilliantly, removing shadows, camera equipment, glare, etc, in order to get the cover shot for the magazine. He's also one of the photographers. Always enlightening to read his posts.
And there are plenty more. If you get the chance, whether you are bored, need something to read for a project for school, or are looking at getting into blogging, I suggest you check out some of the less known people out there. They often give a different spin on the every day blogs we read. It is under my impression that they're just tryin' to inform the world of something. Do your part, and learn from their mistakes or success to make yourself a better person(it'll work, trust me!).
